She's great seiyuu, and singer, but she should act her age.

Old Kikuko Inoue joke...

No really, being over 30, and still acting like that, it's infatile - in a bad way.

Well, she's gotten her 10th top-10 single by acting childish and innocent. Her choice to do so makes sense in that light, eh? More sense than random-person-on-the-internet telling an adult woman how she "should" act (speaking of infantilizing...)

Maybe you know me from there, I'm not all that random internet person, not that it matters.

You're right, I don't have any right to say how should someone act, and I do love Yukari Tamura, Nana Mizuki, Yui Horie, and many other seiyuu who act like that, even though they're not so young anymore.

It's just, I don't know... Rolling Eyes

I guess, they're trying too hard not to lose to younger girls in industry who could steal all otakus, so there's that too...

Nana Mizuki does look and dress young, but she doesn't act childish.

These seiyuu and others like Minori Chihara and Minami Kuribayashi all have different but overlapping followers. The Yukari Tamura fans that I met near NHK Hall in September 2012 took pride in standing out in pink t-shirts and having a youthful exhuberance.

...and Mitsuko Horie, although 54 years old when I saw her with Ichirou Mizuki (then celebrating his 65th birthday) and Hironobu Kageyama (then 50) whilst older were all far from laid back and boring.

Well, there is something with growing music with you as you age, like what if boy band One Direction is the same as they are in their 30s or Madonna still acting the way she started, and oh the Beatles. Laughing
