That's a short manga --and already ended-- to be getting an anime, even an 1-ep OAV this late.

It has six volumes out which would would make it perfect for 12 episodes anime. |

I am so FREKKIN EXCITED. Of series released in the last 2-3 years, I've probably been blown away by it more than any other. The mangaka has done Countdown 7 Days which the article mentioned, which I hear was so-so; but I read Replica (also licensed by DMG), and was really quite fascinated by. Now she has this one out and it's STUNNING. The art is gorgeous, and the storyline is exciting and also very emotionally moving. I've probably sobbed over it more than any other of the newer titles out there right now.
Anyway, I am STOKED. |

I think DnW is also getting a sequel called Rengoku ni Warau, according to Karakara Kemuri's recent blog post.
Also, MagGarden put up an official site for Donten ni Warau, if anyone's interested. But great news! I've been following this series since its first chapter release and I'm absolutely elated to hear that it made it this far! |
