It clearly shows at the very beginning of the video that it is an OVA. Also, the encyclopedia listing confirms it as well. |

Hmm I'm going to help clarify a bit what this ova is supposed to be about. It has with the aids or at the time Grid "do you research" out break/epidemic in america. The president himself had people do countless research to find an ongoing and they caught wind mysterious disease in hinamizawa "hinamizawa syndrome". He thinks the disease is linked in the same and orders the village to sealed off in agreement with the Japanese government. These aren't spoilers this is the actual set-up for the plot of this short-story/ova. spoiler[The only spoiler I an give you is Takano the main villain behind all entire series is even stunned at what's going on.]

And no I don't want to buy an import unless I have to. Geneon goes belly up leave us half the damn series and it's been like what... and no one has bothered to even rescue the first series or the 2nd? Or add the other specials? Oh COME ON!! |

Seriously .. region free DVD players are as cheep as chips, plus VLC player will play any region DVD. Region free BluRay players are a different story though
