Dude!! I can't believe someone actually remembered Black Lion!! That is one of my favorite "grindhouse" type OVAs ever!!
Ninjas using marijuana to battle a terminator samurai controlled by an alien Nobunaga? That's Go Nagai for ya.

Nice to see Nobuna Oda is in this list.
About the Nobunaga in Pokémon Conquest
He's not really a bad guy, he's just finding a way to stop humans from abusing Pokemon as weapons of war after realizing humans have forgotten to treat Pokemon as their friends not tools.

No mention of Sengoku Basara Nobunaga? I loved that guy, he was so ludicrously evil that it was hilarious.

Sengoku Collection was a pretty enjoyable show for its many character-centric episodes and its music. If not comedic, it was charming.

Glad to see Hyouge Mono get some love. There'd have been something very wrong with the world if that hadn't been in the list!

Well, the nasty portrayal of Oda Nobunaga extends to video games as well. If I remember correctly,"Sakura Wars 5:So Long,My Love" had old Oda returning to conquer 1920's-era America. I'd love to see an anime or manga deal with a similar premise. Oda Nobunaga returns to life and tries to conquer modern-day America.
As for "Pokemon Conquest,"I think it would be interesting to see an era of American history used in a "Pokemon" game. They'd do one during the Civil War. Both Union and Confederate forces with their own pokemon. An even better one could be set during the American Revolution. The British could have their pokemon and the Americans could have theirs as well. What do you guys think?

First no STARISH (Uta no Prince-Sama) or Bad Luck (Gravitation) for Idol Groups, and now no Barnaby? What gives ANN!?

I was also a little surprised Mikuru Asahina wasn't an option.

I was about to say that. He's fun to use in the game version too.

I am also ecstatic. When I saw the article's title I was like, "please let him be there, please let him be there, he better be there or else." And he was, so that makes me happy. Would have preferred him to be #1, because he was genuinely scary, but #7 (the first entry that people read) is not a bad spot.

QFT.
He precisely encapsulates what the Japanese people envisage (wrongly, as it turns out) Nobunaga to be; a purely evil warlord with a ruthless streak a mile wide and no respect for human life.

I think ANN have something against Boybands, I saw no Λucifer from Kaikan Phrase either.
On a side note I choose Momiji, he deserved more love at the end of the manga.
