I missed the announcement about Fantagraphics and Nijigahara Holograph. That's really great! They put out quality material, and any work of Asano's deserves that.
I have only support for Asano in his quest. I hope it goes well, and I look forward to his future work about transgender issues.

I like his work, its a shame he's not happy with himself but i dont think sex change operations are quite there yet.
anyway its not really anyones business but his own so if he's happy with it then thats all that matters.

I saw the announcement but I don't recall reading much of anything from Fantagraphics before so that's great to hear.
Same here with Asano. I wish him only the best in whatever decision he comes to. I'm sure whatever subject he broaches next in his manga will be thoroughly researched and endlessly thought-provoking.

If he decides to go all the way with this, then I wish him the best. His possible new work also sounds interesting; perhaps it'd be a more mature, focused take on transgender issues than Hourou Musuko, considering that Hourou Musuko's cast is still a large bunch of kids.

Good for him, and I hope his project is everything he hopes it could be.

I also missed the announcement about Fantagraphics and Nijigahara Holograph. Added to my list of must-buys.
Good luck with your future Asano-san! (And welcome to the club.)
