Any word on what the business model for Neon Alley is? I would definitely support a streaming channel, but it would seem difficult for such a thing to exist on advertising alone. Wouldn't the channel need some wealthy sponsors to help with costs?
I really do hope this is successful. More avenues for anime could possibly mean more reasons for anime to be localized.

I would be more interested in Neon Alley if it allowed you to watch things in english or japanese (some series have superior english dubs, others japanese dubs, but it would still be nice to always have the option), but I suppose it is still a neat idea.

I'm not really that interested in Neon Alley since I rarely watch English dubs but a free PS3 would be nice. Hope the service works out for those who want to watch streaming anime but prefer to watch dubs.

Dub only? Hm.
Still, it would be neat to get a PS3. I'm in.

There's still Crunchyroll, Hulu, and a bunch of other avenues for the sub-watcher needs. This Neon Alley seems to aim towards purely for the dub fans who wants their own avenue.

When does it go live? Midnight tonight? Or sometime during the day?

I had checked out that app today and seems it's fixated on scheduling like a regular TV channel but it could change eventually. Somehow it got my PS3 restarted when I exit the app though, that should be fixed when there's an update pretty soon.
Not bad, not bad at all. Good luck to others for this contest.
