Out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I guess 4Kids is going to go for more European kids shows now like they original did with Winx and Funky Cops? I imagine they're cheaper to license compared to big name anime like Yu-Gi-Oh. Watch them try to get Tara Duncan next.

Okay, because I know people will start talking about it if I do not nip it in the butt, SABAN DID NOT MAKE "SABAN MOON!!!" That was a group called Renaissance-Atlantic Entertainment, who worked closely with Bandai and Toon Makers, Inc. Because Renaissance-Atlantic worked with Saban to help them aquire the Super Sentai series from Toei, many people thought they came up with it and started calling it "Saban Moon," but they had nothing to do with it. Just thought you should know.....

.....They did, however, licence Digimon, Monster Rancher and Samurai Pizza Cats..... So, yeah.

Is this good or bad? Who knows, but I do like how things were going with 4Kids and I cannot imagine Saban doing subtitled streams or anything.

So will Yugioh be replaced on Toonzai or will they still play it on the CW? Well at least Beastkeeper seems kind of cool.

And of course, what about 5D's on YTV? I can't imagine this is good news for Canada.

Actually I believe Monster Rancher was licensed by BKN Entertainment or something.

It's a really poor choice of a name. This KidsCo has nothing to do with the international children's network of the same name. Saban's KidsCo was set up earlier this year.

So this is Beastkeeper?

All I can say is 4Kids must be desperate to find their next proxy battling show.

I imagine they'd love to get Angel's Friends as their next Winx Club but the whole 'angel' thing probably scares them off.

Why don't the characters talk? All they do is laugh and make sounds in that trailer. Is it so cheap they cant even hire real voice actors?

If Samurai Pizza Cats is any indication, it should be easier for someone to get the home video rights to the JP version of the show.

Just what I was thinking. From one bad company to another. When will Yu-Gi-Oh ever get DVDs with Japanese audio and no editing?

You're definitely not going to get uncut and uncensored DVDs from a company called "Kidsco" let alone Blu-Rays...

I'm pretty sure "Angel's Friends" is already in syndication in the US.

Yes, the two companies are unrelated. Saban is even financing the deal, so there is little question as to who is backing the new KidsCo.

Boy no kidding. This is just terrible to look at. Oh well, whatever floats their boat (or sinks it).
