Hope they don't get lazy/cheap and recycle old audio from past games like they did for Ultimate Tenkaichi (which sometimes had 2 different English VAs speaking for one character; old "DBZ" VA and new "Kai" VA).

I sent them an email and I actually got a response.

Hopefully it'll have no embarrassing mistakes this time.

Good god, how many DBZ games will they make?

Especially since they haven't been great since Budokai 3.

well this is going to be rudest comment so far. This is the first dbz game to make you look like retard since it's full body motion. Now if I was 14 again... this would be dream come true but my body isn't in shape as it used to be.

This game's announcement actually came with a montage of almost every DB/Z game Bandai's ever made, with the question "What haven't we done?", Kinect. Laughing

As for your second comment, many would disagree. While the games on the HD consoles have been poor this generation the DS got some great games, and there was some fun to be had with the PSP ones. I suppose most would consider the last "great" console DBZ game to be Budokai Tenkaichi 3, or Infinite World.

I hope it's as awesome as the Star Was one. Vegeta dance sequence would be awesome.

When I was a kid I liked doing the Kamehameha stance. Wonder if the Fusion dance will be available? Laughing

When I was a kid, I used to pretend I could shoot Kamehameha waves. I used to threaten mean kids by saying I would go Super Saiyan on them. I used to run around, mimicking different moves from the show to razor-sharp accuracy. And now, in my room filled with every manga volume of DB/DBZ and the entirety of the DBZ anime on DVD, you're telling me that i can control a Dragon Ball game by actually doing the motions to execute an attack, consequently kicking foes' butts in virtual reality?

Welllll, I need to change pants now... >.>

Oh dear that sounds horrible. Plus, considering Kinect games all sell like crap and anime games rarely do any better, I can't imagine what the money men at BN are thinking letting this project go ahead.

Oh well... their money Very Happy

The game is reusing assets from the last DBZ game Spike made the world suffer through. It's probably a very cheap game.

If I was 10 years younger, then maybe I would be interested in this.
I'm sure all the younger DBZ fans will fall head over heels for this game.

Kinect Star Wars is surprisingly doing very well. I know a lot of Star Wars fans actually bought the Limited Edition Star Wars console+game bundle, even though they already have a perfectly working 360. Particularly the Brits, where Kinect Star Wars becomes first Kinect exclusive to lead UK sales charts.

I guess they like using Kinect for the lightsabers and the Force. Probably be the same with DBZ fans for the Kamehameha. Laughing

Actually, so far a few Kinect games are doing well. By summer of last year 2011, Kinect Sports already reached 3 million (more in Europe), while Dance Central reached 2.5 million (more in North America). It's no wonder that both franchises received 2nd versions. Too bad it won't be in Bioshock Infinite though. Laughing
