YES- honestly, a big part of why I have Xenoblade Chronicles on preorder was to show people will pay for these games so I could get Last Story. Time to figure out how to add this game into the budget too!

It continues to drive me up the wall that this getting an American release was such a debacle in the first place. At least it all worked out in the end though.

Yay! Now it's just Pandora's tower left. Nice that this one got a US release announcement so much sooner than Xenoblade did.

Geez these next few months is going to be heaven for JRPG fans in america. The last story in febuary, tales of graces f in march, xenoblade chronicles in april, tales of the abyss 3d this month, and hyperdimension neptunia mk2 this month. Geez my wallet is going to get destroyed this beginning of the year.

I'm really glad to hear this news. As a fan of JRPGs, this console generation has been a letdown for me (handhelds excluded), and when titles with some real pedigree and clout - and which, by most indications, are good titles - get passed up on in NA, but then released in English in Europe, I get a bit irked. How much extra effort would it be to bring them to NA, even with a British dub? Isn't NA a larger software market? Isn't there a strong potential for greater sales in NA than in Japan or Europe, even if the advertising was as limp as advertising for JRPGs in NA usually is?

I don't have a Wii, but I'm intending to get either a Wii-U or a gently-used Wii later this year, and along with Muramasa, Skyward Sword, and Xenoblade, The Last Story will be another cool title for my war chest that I'll get at release and savor later on down the line. I don't normally pre-order these days, or even buy around the launch date, given how prices tend to recede and make even a modicum of patience pay off financially, but in cases like this where I want to throw my support behind not only the game, but its release, developers, and as a vote for more stuff like it, I think it merits a pre-order.

Sweet! Now, I've gotta save $60 for when The Last Story comes out. Smile Already pre-ordered on Xenoblade Chronicle.

This is great news, hopefully it will see a wider release than Xenoblade. Though if it does, maybe Nintendo will see fit to spread out Xenoblade's release as well.
