Hmmm...
Interesting.
Didn't think the show was popular or did well enough for any sort of movie.

I really liked this show a lot and wished it had been at least 2 cour. With so many folks involved in the TV series returning to work on this film I'm quite interested in seeing it.

Well, now that Ray Bradbury has finally relented last month, any future library wars would be less Fahrenheit 451 and more........ uh......... Fahrenheit 1500? (What's the burning point of an e-reader?) Laughing

And yet I can still throw my favorite book across the room and still read it with no worries. Laughing

But it'll be harder for "firemen" like Guy Montag to keep e-files from the masses than books from the masses. And once on the Net, can't take it back. It'll be a pointless future library war, and a very short anime. Laughing

Really wish the anime had been licensed and/or continued. :\ Curious to see how the movie turns out.

I'd forgotten about Library Wars until this news item was posted. I wouldn't mind seeing both the series and the movie. Perhaps if the movie does well, both the series and movie will be licenced and released together.

Oh HELL YES! Very Happy Smile I Love Library War! Someone should definitely release the TV Series so I can buy it, but I'll be watching for this movie as well.
