along with another and natsume four this is one of the anime i been looking foreward too most during the winter season i usually like the sengoku era anime plus the trailers for brave10 looked pretty good. im hoping someone picks it up for a simulcast but since the main chanel airing it is chiba tv which anime on there usually get a simulcast i think its pretty likely.

Something got really off in some of the formatting for Brave10. The first line under Story reads as follows:
Quote: | The Warring States Era, one year prior to the Battle of Sekigahara. The young Iga Ninja, Kirigakure SaizoWhile unable to find a path to believe in, , comes across Isa Nami, a Miko who escaped from Izumo and was being attacked by assassins. |

This is an adaptation of an otome game, isn't it?
And why did Rina Satou have to be the main female. Argh, guess I'll at least watch the first episode since she hasn't been in much at all these past few seasons.

I'm not sure if it's just me or anything, but... this looks pretty contrived. I mean, using an alternate take on the Warring States era is becoming less and less fresh, and the character designs look like total fangirl and fanboy bait right out of the shoot. I'm not going to make any final calls until I actually watch the show (it'd be pretty lame of me to do that!), but from the looks of it, I think my watching time might be spend elsewhere this winter.

no brave10 is based off a manga not a otome game.

Good of them to put the most vital information up front.

No, you're pretty spot-on. The theme is becoming a bit repetitive. But, that's just the nature of the beast, I guess(Anime). Personally, I get the impression of a Samurai 7 and Hakuōki(Yes, I know: the latter is about a hundred years later) amalgamation. And it most certainly is fangirl/bishonen fanatic-geared; the last sentence in the story describes them as "history's most beautiful, magnificent warriors".
All in all, I'm still gonna watch.
Nice to see you back in column action, Mr. Sevakis.

Not holding out much hope for this one - from this spotlight it's sounding like a bunch of tropes thrown together. But maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, too much of a sausage fest for my tastes. Isa looks cute, though, and I have watched shows for the sake of only one character before. May give it at least a three episode trial. Freshness or whatever doesn't matter so long as it entertains.

I'm sure most of the shows this season will be all cute girls and harems, One single sausage fest show is no biggie.

Shit Date, get it together! ANN accidentally replaced your image with some Sesshomaru looking bishonen bait! They didn't even bother to photoshop your hat on it!
