Character Designer of FFXII teaming up with Producer of FFIII/FFIV ds versions ... teaming up stunning art with someone who knows what he is doing in game-production (I find the DS versions of FFIII/FFIV high quality releases)

I quite liked the shown designs, got a distinct feel to it, and dear god I'm already a sucker for the melancholic tune playing in the background

Come on Square-Enix, please don't mess this one up like your recent releases...

PS: Anyone could shed some light on the title "Bravely Default"? I'm an non-native english speaker so could be missing something clever about it but atm just can't make that much sense out of it

I have a feeling they actually mean "Bravery Default," not that that makes any more sense lol.

The game looks quite nice, and seems to use the 3D and the camera. I hope they end up making something that's completely unique to the handheld its on, the way that World Ends With You was. The art style seems nostalgic somehow. I hope this makes it here.

The romantic in me thinks "damn, that sure is a purdy game. I want to go to there."

While the rest of me wonders... Where do they get the names for their games?! Bravery Default? Is it darts against a board littered with english words written on notecards? Bravery Default sounds like some college band from the 90's.

Maybe the main character inherited a failing business swimming in debt. So he has to default, but bravely moves on from the default into a career of adventuring or some such.

I wonder why they didn't keep the Four Warriors of Light 2 name. Seems like the world is connected, but choose to do a spiritual successor type deal instead of keeping the name. The current name is very out there. Sure, SE has some weird names for other games, but this takes the cake.

This is probably the posterchild for ridiculous JRPG names. UnchainBlades ReXX was crazy, but at least it has an edgy ring. This makes the game sound plain and boring.
