See? That's God's way of telling you to stop making Zero no Tsukaima. He must hate Louise too.

All horrible and insensitive joking aside, best hopes and wishes to the guy. If his cancerous growth has shown signs of shrinking, then we can also have hope that he'll be able to progress after the surgery and be on the road to a full recovery. I hesitate to use words like "cure", but at the very least I hope it never returns.

Hope he gets better soon after the surgery. It must be a terrible feeling to know that he has cancer and he needs to go to surgery to remove it.

I would say "cure" is too extreme of a word here, nothing can completely cure cancer with our current technology in medicine.

But dude, you only got 2 more volumes to go! YOU GOT TO FINISH IT BEFORE YOU DIE!

Don't write things like "please finish the two volumes before you die"!

He should just get better and then do what he can to continue when he's ready.

Please get better soon, Yamaguchi-san.

Is it just me, or does the Japanese creative community seem especially prone to death and illness compared to the western one? Or when ours do die, they still leave enough material for three books for someone else to finish.

Well since the thing actually shrunk its fortunate that he at least has a chance now to make it. I wish him luck.

I hope he'll make it through this. Cancer is probably the worse thing that can happen to person like him. My heart goes out to him.

There are lots of different types of cancer some are curable some are not. It depends on where you get it and how fast you discover it. I had a particularly nasty variation and I've been cured since age 4 and I'll be 29 this year.

He is also the writer of the original Strike Witches novels. I wish him the best.
