Wait, I'm confused. Who played Kasuka before? In Episode 7? With the infamous "Santa Monica Blvd." blooper?

Too bad companies are too cheap to put in the effort to dub in-songs.

Of course. I mean look at Vic Mignogna & Johnny Young Bosch(even though they started as voice actors)

You're f***ing me. So it was him! I don't watch much of American Idol anymore, but at the time I was watching it I remember that guy in season 6 coming in second to Jordin Sparks! He was mostly known for throwing in a beatboxing element to his singing and ya know what, people can say what they will about how it was a gimmicky and ruined whatever song he adapted, I still think he brought something unique and cool to American Idol. And that's saying something because after watching from season 2-9 of that show, I pretty much was getting bored of everyone always singing either R&B, rock, pop, or country. It didn't feel diverse enough for me.

Haha, this is like Japan hiring J-pop singers to voice their anime! Laughing

That document I saw on Aniplex's US website says that he's been watching anime for a decade and that he loves anime, so who knows? Maybe he'll do a good job.

Too bad getting the relevant permissions is difficult and then people complain loudly about it anyway when they do.

Huh? Like a couple of other people are saying.... what happened to the first guy?

God, I don't know.... I can't decide whether to be super really excited..... or just a little depressed that its not someone thats done a few VA's before since I thought Durarara was rather kinda popular and... I just don't know. I'll wait to see the episode dubbed first before I give any real opinion on it. I'm like seriously on the fence with this. I reallllly hope he's good. If he is, I hope he does more voice acting in anime in the future, if not then Confused . I'll be a tad disappointed.
So yeah, until then...

(but please oh please let it be good Anime cry )

Apparantly... he is the first guy. That's who's listed on ANN's cast page. And Hypeathon apparantly even recognized him, though he wasn't sure until now.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like that information was only added recently, but oddly enough, I can't seem to locate an old entry for who played him.

Oh really! OMG Shocked
If your right then I just got all confused and what not, and basically was acting a little ridiculous for nothing. Totally okay with it all now.
And shutting up now.
thanks for that.
