*in b4 hate/this is gonna suck/wank*
I am absolutely excited for this. Screen Gems is one of my favorite companies. Just bring it on. I'm eager to see cast listings, actually. I know that's a long way off, but still. |

cool. hopefully the movie will stick to its video game roots and won't be like the last air bender or the DBZ movie. i hope they have a CG type movie like the final fantasy movies that would be BA.

Right now all we can do is hope. TLA was a massive disappointment, and I've been a fan of the original cartoon since the day it aired. DBE was a joke. |

I hope the film is about the old Dante and not the new black haired version of him.

Oh man, lets just hope that Paul W.S. Anderson doesn't get his hands on this because he already sullied the Resident Evil name with his Mary-Sue character and making her the unnecessary main character when that title should have gone to the real main characters from the original series.
After seeing Legion and not having any hopes with the upcoming Priest movie, I don't have much faith in Devil May Cry in being a decent film but hey, at least it should have Dante being the main character, right? |

Really. I was incredibly disappointed with the way they handled the Resident Evil movies. It shouldn't be too hard to screw up the DMC series, right? :'D |

It's not like you need a big budget for a DMC movie, but my pick for Dante would either be Aaron Kwok or Gackt.
FMA:
Even after Priest? Personally, I'm still wondering what's been the latest on the Onimusha movie. |

It's a game movie, so don't get your hopes up. The guy attached to write it is also completely unproven. I don't see them giving the project to a good director either, so all I see is another botched film adaptation. I just wonder if this or Ninja Theory's monstrosity is going to be more humiliating for the series. |

Well, it'd be hard to make it worse than the anime at least.

And so another horrible bomb for studios was set into motion.
Let us bet how much worse than DOA and Tekken it's going to be. |

DOA wasn't bad, considering the source material. But most fighting games are tough to adapt, because they rely on too many characters you have to fit in, and no one wants to put up the money for that. Hell, I think the Mortal Kombat movie was just a damned fluke.

DMC is more popular in America anyways, so they'll still watch it.
