Um, Covina =/= Los Angeles, unless you want to nit-pick and say Los Angeles County.

I will have to think about this, I hate going to Boston. As I feel now I don't know if I would even go to Anime Boston next year. |

Good thing I don't want to see this movie, or I'd point out a big state that's not on this list where FUNimation is actually located.

Hmm, since Phoenix isn't listed yet, I wonder if bugging the little arthouse theatre in Tempe that usually get this kind of thing will yield any results. Anime does tends to do well there, from what I've heard. |

According to the guy that runs the theater on Mill, Eva 1.01 did really really well. We want Summer Wars here. Lets start contacting theaters. |

Wait a minute, they're actually showing it down here in New Mexico? I will definitely be taking that hour-long drive to Santa Fe to go see it. Heck, while I'm up there, I might even stop by Ten Thousand Waves for a bit as well (that is, if I have the means to do so at the time
![]() Thanks FUNimation! |

No Canadian run?
![]() Surprised as anime theatrical runs are always packed, especially here in Toronto. |

I'm surprised there's no Texas theaters listed, like Dallas or Austin. Although, Summer Wars did have a screening at the Asian Film Festival of Dallas just a few weeks before Funi announced the license.

Canadian theatrical runs are always really tricky logistically, due to the fact that every province requires its own ratings board to rate the film, and most of them are utterly unresponsive and a nightmare to work with. (Quebec is by far the worst.) Which isn't to say it won't happen, but just that if it doesn't... well, that's why. |
