I actually decided not to get Street Fighter 4 during its first release since I figured there would be another, better version soon after.

Definitely gonna pick up SSFIV,but as much as I like them I always seem to suck at fighting games. Eventually gonna get 3D Dot Game Heroes too.

HAHAHAHA oh man that Arc Rise link cracked me up. Now that Atlus and N1 have raised the bar, "irony" is no excuse for bringing us back to the bad old days of Star Ocean the Second Story (which is an EXCELLENT RPG all around, btw)'s dub. That would be somewhere around 50 points!

Wow, didn't know Lost Planet 2 was due so soon.

Also a bit surprised that there was no blub about Electronic Gaming Monthly returning.

Crotchety ol time skipped ninjas? Hilarious.

There are a bunch of good games out. That Lost planet 2 demo was fun. So much better than part one. It took a minute to figure out how to succeed.

I have Super Street Fighter IV in the other room, still haven't played it. Couldn't take the cheap SNK style boss the first time around.

Wow, the Arc Rise Fantasia clips are... well, let's just say they may actually cross the line into "So Bad It's Good" territory, depending on how grating they get. Still... maybe I'll just get the soundtrack and call it a day. Not before submitting the game to Audio Atrocities (www.audioatrocities.com), though.

Are the Japanese voices an unlockable option in Super Street Fighter IV like Street Fighter IV did?

Yes, the Japanese audio IS selectable in Super Street Fighter IV...

Here's the catch, though.

Like SFIV, you have to beat the game once to unlock the audio select.

After that, you can toggle audio back and forth and (probably, I can't confirm this) pick which characters you want to speak English or Japanese and mash the audio all up.

************

All in all, a better version of SF IV. The new stages are kind of a letdown, though. They're kind of bland. Graphics seemed to pop up more last year.

SF IV is worth keeping for the Challenge Mode, though.

I'm not so sure putting the Bonus Stages back into SSFIV was a great thing...

I can probably wait another 5-7 years for SF V to be honest.

I would much rather get Darkstalkers IV first...

***********

I'm not holding my breath on Marvel Vs Capcom 3 in spite of the announcement... For some reason, I'm just not pumped up for that game.

The Vs games are basically shallow.

No question the first two games -- X-Men Vs SF and Marvel Vs SF -- were the best of the bunch.

You can have fun with them but they're just not deep fighting games...

I've been waiting on 3D Dot Game Heroes for a while now. It's paid off and everything, just need the release date to arrive so I can get my greedy little hands on it and have some nostalgic fun. xD

Wow. That Super Mario Crossover is wicked awesome! Cool
Too bad, for me, that's it's really frustrating to play since I'm used to controlling movement with my left hand and actions on my right. My keyboard is totally backwards. I keep running right into those damn mushrooms! Argh. Laughing
Cool game nonetheless. Here's hoping all lawyers lay low. Maybe they'll get addicted to the game too and ignore any future cries from Nintendo about copyright infringement. Smile

Oh wow, that dub for Arc Rise Fantasia is quite interesting.
It definately brings me back to Star Ocean on the Ps1, although this time I presume they're going to dub everything, and not leave half of it in Japanese...

Hadn't really been keeping up with the latest Naruto game. Didn't know it was coming out so soon in the US. I'm glad SSFIV is just more than an improvement of a previous game, but I think I'll wait for the bargain price after getting the first one on its release date. Right now, SMG 2 is a priority for me in video games. I'll wait to get the rest afterwards.

Hey Xenogears actually had decent English acting, what I just heard in that link was god awful.

Oh my god, this is what we waited all this time for? Oh boy...

Breath of Death VII looks like a lot of fun. But then, I can't play it anyway, since we don't have the "indie games" option where I live. -_-
