I kind of like the logo not as much as I did the ADV ones over the years ,but still a decent logo. As for the titles already have the Geneon release of Daphne in the Brilliant Blue and not to sure if I want Slit-Mouth Woman/Zombie Dead.

So is this basically an SNK-like deal: Old company dies, with most of the staff transferring to the new company?

Can't wait to see what the future holds, I wonder if they'll gain steam and start steadily releasing new titles again (which ADV had pretty much stopped doing)

Well, a logo is a logo. It'll take a while for me to adjust to seeing this instead of the more colourful ADV image we've become accustomed to, but at least the titles of the discontinued brand remain in safe hands.

Why doesn't Anime news network have a release schedule? I mean Nana part 1 came out to day and nobody is talking about it? Do people not know? I mean everyone has been waiting on it for years right?

Heh, when we first heard about these changes recently that was exactly what came to mind first. And once they realize the power of a recognizable name we'll probably see a "hyphenated" version of the ADV name make a return like with SNK Playmore.

Look under the "Encyclopedia" tab at the top, it's right under "manga".

Section23 is the distributor. Sentai and Switchblade are the licensors.

Nice, looks like Section23 will soon have a functioning website. I may have to buy one of their coming releases, like Ghost Hound or Tears to Tiara, just to have the logo in my collection.

I like that the logo is one of those images that looks like nothing at first, but then if you look carefully you see something.

Damn. Damn. Damn. Despite the cool looking logo, I was hoping for a dubbed release of Clannad.

Oh, hush up. I can dream. Oh, and S23, I already have Daphne in a completed, all episodes box set.

Please don't pull the ADV crap of releasing part sets. Sell the whole thing at a increased cost, much like video games do.

Oh, why bother ranting. Nothing's going to change except a logo.
