Now if only we could actually read Gunslinger Girl in English.
Saki sure is getting a big boost from the anime version. Of course, stuff like this probably helps also: http://en.akibablog.net/archives/2009/07/50861995.html (The lilies are a nice touch!) |

Is Saiyuki Gaiden now complete? Does anyone know if there are any plans to publish it in America?

Good day for Pandora Hearts, I'd say.

Yeah, Saiyuki Gaiden has been completed. As far as I know, there aren't any plans to bring it to the US. Minekura will also start Saiyuki Reload Blast sometime in the future...It makes me wonder if that will ever be licensed soon after its first volume's release in Japan, or if we will have to wait. |

Last I heard, GSG is up to chapter 67 for the manga. Unless a major publisher hooks licensing rights to the series from ADV like Tokyopop or Viz, then I doubt we will be seeing any new volumes of GSG in the states anytime soon if ever. |

Well, yeah, that's my imagined scenario...not like it doesn't have plenty of precedents already (Aria, Yotsuba, Kobato, etc) |

I don't understand that game in Saki nor want to understand it. Guess that anime was totally made for japanese people otherwise it would've been chess.

It's pretty easy to follow along if you just know a few basics, actually. It's sort of like Gin Rummy. |

Glad to see that the drama is indeed helping the sales of Otomen. I hope both the drama and manga do well, as it's one of the few shoujo series I like.
