Hey this guy doesn't seem like a male tsundere! That's pretty new!
(Okay, I'm sorry but...the Bleach similarities are really there. I mean, it's not like it's ripping it off and it certainly has its own flair but....it's very there IMO.) |

I like the entry fees to the spirit world. Other than that, at least it's not Inuyasha but it's still able to hold that Takahashi Rumiko humor in there. I actually found it amusing, so I'll probably keep up with this series for a bit.

Yep, certainly has a Bleach meets Inuyasha vibe going on. Still Takahashi is pretty good at making things her own so it should be entertaining. A male lead that isn't a hot head is a nice change from her better known title characters.

I never liked Inuyasha, but this series isn't half bad, I might even follow it. The entry fees and the wheel is an interesting concept, and thankfully the guy's personality isn't super annoying

I enjoyed it. It's nice to get in on the ground floor with something guaranteed to generate a lot of interest.
Someone else said there are going to be a lot of fanfic Bleach crossovers, and I can already hear those keyboards a-clackin' and the Wacom pads a-tappin'. Ichigo meets Rin-ne, with Chihua-taro using Kon as a fire hydrant -- or a chew toy. |

That was really good. ^^ I really look forward to the next chapter. I actually like the supernatural/ghostly twists in this compared to InuYasha.

I enjoyed reading the first chapter, and look forward to seeing more. Can't really judge after only reading the first chapter, but things are looking good so far.

If I may completely disrupt this thread (fat chance), does anyone know who's translating the series? If you could provide a source, that'd also be good.

Ugh, stupid Adobe Flash requirement. It took me all of five minutes to figure out where the images were and save them so I can read it without the stupid interface.
I'm definitely interested in following this primarily on the Takahashi name. While I skipped Inu Yasha, I've seen and/or read most of her other work, and despite my annoyance with how Viz is posting it on the website, I'm surprised and happy that not only are they doing it at all, but so quickly after the Japanese publication. On first glance the premise doesn't seem immediately original but Takahashi has a way of turning both simple and improbable concepts into every enjoyable stories, so here's hoping she strikes gold again. |

Yeah, I know (already read the first chapter). I was wondering who at Viz was translating the series, though. I can't seem to find anything on it myself. |

Bleach much?
seriously though, i'm curious to see how Rumiko Takahashi takes on this idea... guess we'll know in another 5 years or so, right after the 200 episode anime with no ending. |

Well, I'd love to read it there, but...
Once again, these media companies kind of miss the point when offering things online. |

I thought this news series was amusing at the least, the concept and content seem pretty good and the character seem to have a good vibe. So I think I'll be following this as well because it has alot of interesting things going on for being the first chapter. Inyuasha was good, if you can dismiss the ending part being drawn out but overall it was pretty good. This seems like a series that she can really do without dragging it out, also yeah it does have some simularites with Bleach although its ok to have some minor simularites as long as she makes up an original story and characters and manages to stay on track throughout the series.
