I'm definitely glad I waited to watch Queen's Blade so now I don't have to kill myself like Zac did. >.>
I'm also disappointed with K-ON! I didn't read the manga so I didn't know how serious it was going to be but I was really looking forward to it and hoping for a kind of a new "Beck" anime, but I highly doubt that's going to happen after watching the first episode. |

Wow, people srsly don't like queens blade... kinda makes me sad, i loved the first episode! i mean hot girls, funny battles, boobs galore! what more could you ask for? but if you don't like queens blade, i wouldn't allow you to watch kanokon either :/ its sad really... I'm surprised that GUYS actually don't like Queens Blade... I mean if you were looking for a story, don't expcet it to find it here... I mean its a fanservice for all, borderline hentai anime! Uguu! Now I feel like I'm gonna be the only person watching it... :/
K-ON was ok, the only thing it has going for me is SO MOE I'M GONNA DIE feeling! (Just like the first time I saw Manabi Straight) And I <3 it! lol hopefully it'll be a little better next episode, like how the ultra tsundere toradora anime turned out to be! I was hoping that Zac would review Queen's Blade. Most of the people watching it are probably curious about what crazy wacky stuff they'll pull next. The entire plot can be condensed into one word.
I'm actually somewhat interested in K-ON. Haven't seen the first episode yet but shows like this tend to get better as they go on. Reminds me of Lucky Star, which I enjoyed. |

Coore! I knew the recession was bad, but I didn't realise it would be this bad. Zac your rating for Queen's Blade was pure brilliance. I can only hope the game is better than that, though tis another valid reason for me to never play video games. Real life is much more painful, and the payoff much more satisfying.

It's not based on a video game, it's based on a table-top role playing game (i.e. D&D type thing). Basically the original work was a bunch of very glossy books that had lots of ecchi art for the characters and that explained all their moves/the rules of play, etc. Frankly there's nothing wrong with the game at all, it's pretty standard table-top RPG stuff in terms of turn based attack, defend, hit points, etc. Take away the ecchi character designs and it's nothing special. Well, there is fanservice and ... whatever you'd call that disgusting stuff in Queen's Blade. This is not even aesthetic in the slightest ... I only wondered about the sanity of the people who had to draw this. I also agree for most of the other reviews so far. Mom's Life has some nice jokes and some not so well executed ones ... I'll try a few more episodes. Same for K-On.

Imho the seiyuu cast of Queen's Blade is very worth mentioning. It made me wonder how they were able to get Kawasumi Ayako, Hirano Aya, Kugimiya Rie and Yuko Goto to work on that.. thing. Probably blackmailing or worse, or maybe Hirano Aya made another flop song and is in desperate need of money : p Teehee. Anyway, not only is that anime totally worthless, it's also strangely compelling.. and not only because I just adore Kawasumi Ayako's voice. I for one will be looking forward to episode two and very much expect something equally awesome as hair triggered acid shooting boobies.

Queen's Blade WAS really ridiculous... at least the girls are hot in it though. I was hoping it would at least be like Claymore or something... oh well...
CAll it soft-core porn. Loved K-ON! though... it is MOE-GOO all over, but I liked it a lot. The characters were cute and the music was catchy. The animation is very colorful and lively, as well. I loved how they sync the hand animations and things to the actual instrument playing in the songs. Of course.... not everyone is going to like this type of thing, but I enjoyed the fact that it was not offensive, nor resorted to stupid fan-service panty shots.... or anything of the sort. A very innocent show that makes you feel good inside. I believe all the jokes are just meant to make you smile, not have you bust out laughing. I did smile a lot watching this show. IT's definitely one I'll be following. |

You really shouldn't be posting this all over the fourms! For example there are some people who belive in different after lifes, and there are some people who just don't care? like you?
