While I'm not sure if it is the intended message, the song is a perfect rock tune for the story of Romeo & Juliet.

I'm pretty sure that it's the intended message. There's a passage from Romeo & Juliet quoted at 1:11 (My only love sprung from my only hate! / Too early seen unknown, and known too late! / Prodigious birth of love it is to me / That I must love a loathèd enemy. - Act I, Scene 5). Also, the lyrics at 2:21 quote a couple things Romeo said - fortune's fool (Act III, Scene 1), cancelled love (Act III, Scene 3), and the phrase "I hold too much sadness" seems to directly reference Act I, Scene 1 (This love that thou hast shown / Doth add more grief to too much of mine own.).

And to end this entirely too literary post - I'm glad you reviewed this album, and although I enjoyed a couple tracks you didn't, I agree with what you wrote about them Very Happy
