Holy crap! 'Inuyasha' is STILL going??? Jeez!
'Berserk' is at 33. I wonder how much longer that series is going to go on? So far so good 'DHP' is keeping up the pace getting them out. Kind of surprised that 'Soul Eater' is popular. I kind of like it.

Inuyasha recently ended it's serialization just a little while ago. Volume 55 is the current printed volume, and according to ANN's Encyclopedia the last volume will be 56, which is yet to see print -- but probably will by year's end.

Berserk is a whole different bag of nuts all together. The series is still being published in Young Animal at a pace of (someone correct me if I'm wrong) 1-2 chapters per every other month. The author just came off of a 4-month hiatus (he goes on hiatus more often than the Hunter x Hunter manga-ka, they probably share the same physician) with the latest chapter being printed this week, and the chapter after that coming out Nov. 14th.

Judging from the way the story is going, I don't think it will be ending anytime soon.

Given how well Ookiku Furikabutte has apparently been doing, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a second anime series to be produced. If that doesn't happen, hopefully the FUNimation's upcoming release of the anime will do well enough in North America to warrant a company bringing over the manga as well.

That, and Square-Enix's marketing. Like FMA, Soul Eater is SE's pride and joy series.

That Berserk cover doesn't look much different from Miura's style. Is the alternate cover from the H+C manga-ka on the inside of the page?

SE's Black God and Spiral are not bad too.

Nah, to get the alternate cover you have to the buy the Young Animal issue with that volume of Berserk's illustration as the cover.

Ah, I see.

Well, I did read an interview awhile back that he wanted to try and create a work as long as 'Guin Saga'. But the question is could he stretch 'Berserk' out that long. I guess he needs more time to think about what he wants to write.

Thanks on that note.
