Well, anyone who has read the manga probably saw this one coming. Don't wanna spoil too much of it so I'll just leave it at that it's kinda gruesome at parts and the plot is pretty good.

My friend actually has a couple volumes. I've only read a couple chapters into the first volume but I do remember some distinct scenes. I think this manga series has the potential to be a great anime and with Sunrise as the studio, theres no doubt they will do a good job. Now if only we could get the airing date.

This is going to the top on my want to see list.

The preview chapter in Yen Plus convinced me to give the manga a try, so I like this news.

The series looks to be quite intriguing. Tsuneo Kobayashi and Reiko Yoshida being involved certainly can't be a bad thing, and it being animated by Sunrise is the clincher.

I think I'll be checking out the manga as well, although it's too bad this was announced after the Yen Press sale ended on TRSI .... Sad

I had a feeling that manga would get some kind adaptation. I've only read up til about halfway through the 3rd volume and find it to be pretty entertaining. But Keita can be a real prick though...
Mad
I'll definitely be checking this one out as well...

Is this the first Korean-written manga to adapted into a Japanese anime? It seems like it should be a milestone somehow...

Anyway, I'm quite glad about this. I like the manga's odd combination of moe/harem (Kuro is sooo cute) and bloody fighting. The fight scenes better have some AWESOME animation.

Can't wait till vol 4 of the manga comes out in English this month, too.

Cool, I remember reading about this one on wiki and I read one chapter, but I dunno I just didn't feel like going further, but the plot is definitely unique. I'll be looking forward to this one.

Still, I'm almost sure this isn't a first. I just can't think of specifics right now.

Shin Angyo Onshi, a.k.a. Blade of the Phantom Master. I don't know if that one was the first, but Black God definitely is not.
