I'm kind of upset that they cancelled the Trinity Blood Novel. They work so much better than the manga or the Tv series. I was also looking forward to the Nakajima version of Gakuen Heaven. So it looks like their Blu line was not exempt as previously thought. Sad day indeed.

Only one i'm pissed about is the Gundam, Ecole du Ciel vol 9, that's a good manga.
I'm betting that these delays come from the staff cuts, they simply can't get the stuff out as fast any more......................

I'm guessing TP is cancelling stuff based only on sales, rather then a title's origin, reviews or format. So Novels, Original works, licensed titles, Blue titles and Manwha that sell well will continue- but not these it appears.
I'm curious if any will be resolicited.... but I imagine it might be awhile, if at all. I was collecting Ecole du Ciel and Saver..... still, worse things can happen
Guess we'll see what titles are being published later this week when Diamond's new catalogue goes up.

What, I don't see any.....OH MY GOD WHAT IS SHE DOING WITH THAT FEATHER DUSTER?!
Still, I see Gakuen Heaven-Nakajima...wasn't that on another article that it wasn't being yanked?

Gakuen Heaven
Gosick
Missing (novel)
Gundam
Sorcerer Hunters
Trinity Blood
Those are the only ones I've heard of. If I were buying and reading manga, I probably would have got round to reading them at some point. As for the others, they seem just random.

So Suppli #4 has either been cancelled or delayed...not good...but what does this mean with regard to Suppli #3, which is supposed to be out in two or three weeks time?
I presume if they've already printed it, they'll release it but how far in advance of the release date do Tokyopop's manga usually go to print?

Yeah, not good for Suppli indeed. I hope it gets re-solicited. I'll still buy volume 3 though.

I was upset that Gundam, Ecole du Ciel was canceled for now. I only have the 1st volume and I was really enjoyed what I was reading. Now I'll have to get the rest of them that are out in hopes that vol 9 comes out eventually.

Given that volume 3 was the last volume for SMT:KAHN it must have sold pretty badly. Makes me sad since I wanted to collect it and importing the Japanese version isn't an option given how long out of print it is.

The last volume of Love Mode... the last volume - I could cry although I'm just hoping that this just means it will be delayed. It is one of my favorite BL titles, and I wouldn't be surprised if people passed on it after looking at the artwork in the early volumes... looks old.
sigh.
Really, so much substandard, boring, cliched BL is released all the time, why can't those get their publishing canceled? Jeez, and I was only worried about Silver Diamond but now who knows.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Ecole du Ciel really upsets me. I have 1-8 and have been really enjoying the series. I hope the cancellation is only temporary or limited to the direct-sale retailers that Diamond caters to but still will be available to purchace online. I would be really upset if I couldn't be able to finish this series.

Well this was be somesort of karma. I was just glad earlier Tokyopop was still publishing various titles, but now several titles have been canceled.
The good news is, Chibi Vampire wasn't cacelled, so fans of Karin can rejoice.

This is one of my favorite boy's love titles. I agree that there are so many going around that I just don't like because they are either so short or have no real plot, but I can't believe they would cancel the last volumne.
Geez, this is going to be bad with them cancelling series. I already have stopped buying some series because there is such a big lag in release time that I just forget to go and pick them up, then I fall behind and just don't feel like catching up.
Plus, the prices just keep getting worse. Come on, $9.99 for a manga. I can guy regular paperbacks for that and they are fatter. I have always found the pricing to be so high. Being in accounting, I know they have costs to cover, but it still is a very steep price considering the income level of most of the target audience. Even me, with a full time job, have had to cut back on all my spending habits for anything dealing with anime.
I just hope they stop licensing anything new until they get all their current projects done. Like my parents who love to lecture me at my age, stop spending when you are in the red.

Gah! I was hoping at least the Trinity Blood novels might be spared, now I'm starting to get very concerned for Twelve Kingdoms. Also, I'm very disappointed by Suppli, but not really surprised. Still, it was the best new series I'd seen out of them for a while.
