Meanwhile, 9 years passed, and no news on that possible new Read Or Die anime that was mentioned by Anime News Network back in the day. To add to the same pile as the Akira anime series, the remade Megazone 23 and the companion spinoff A.I.C. were going to work on, and other titles. The pile is called: One more reason I hate this ******* timeline.

I like Vine's (if that is her) design. The premise sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

While the new project sounds interesting, I really wish the Read or Die series was fully completed. It's brilliant in all its anime incarnations and like Bleach could be revived in that form for a finale.
