Also, Netflix is raising prices

"Netflix is raising prices starting today - after its biggest-ever subscriber jump. Netflix is more popular than ever, but you'll be paying a little more if you want to keep streaming."

A standard monthly membership with no advertisements is rising $2.50 – from $15.49 to $17.99. The standard plan with ads is getting a $1 increase from $6.99 to $7.99. The most expensive premium plan, which includes four supported devices at a time, 4K (Ultra HD) + HDR Download, two extra members who don't live with you, and Netflix spatial audio, is getting a $2 jump from $22.99 to $24.99.

There is a chance to save a little money though, as Netflix also rolled out a new Extra Member with Ads plan. If you're on an ad-supported plan, you can now add someone outside your household. Previously, you could only add an extra member if you had an ad-free plan.


People keep subscribing - they're not cutting streaming
