Don’t know why you expected that when pretty much every game in this collection is a handheld title.

From what I could tell it was a common hope among people. It was admittedly a long shot, but nothing wrong with a little hope.

Yeah, "a little hope" is something we thought what could have happened conisdering the title "Early Days", however, those 3D era titles (such as Forbidden Memories and Duelist of the Roses for example) most likely require more work and effort to be put on modern/current gen platforms.

Handheld titles require less effort as all of the titles in the collection are GB/GBA games.

They could always put it in another collection with Falsebound Kingdom & Forbidden Memories.

I definitely expect there to be a collection with the GX games considering Duel Academy wasn’t in this one.

So can Konami give Legacy of the Duelist a card update so I don't have to grind through Master Duel?

While I was certainly one of the hopeful ones, once I saw the trend of GB/GBC/GBA games, and the fact that it's only on Switch and PC, it made sense that those 3D games weren't there. But I can absolutely see either a collection containing Forbidden Memories, Duelist of the Roses, Falsebound Kingdom, Dawn of Destiny, Capsule Monster Coliseum, and maybe Wheelie Breakers.
