Part of me want to be hyped after watching this trailer but another one find it really hard after the 2 desastrous Alicization games, i will decide after playing this weekend's Open Network Test.

It definitely looks like it has the best visual presentation of all the SAO Games.
Also Fuka blowing @#$% up looks too fun.

Question for everyone; what do you guys think about Sword Art Online as whole when you look back at everything that came out?
This game (that looks good, IMO) aside, do you think there will be more SAO season(s), or was its golden age in 2010s?

The Beta is online sooner than announced, so far it's more fluid than the Alicization games.

I remember some rumors after the last Alicization's season ended saying there would be no more SAO anime after the Progressive Film and here we are with the coming season second of Alternative and another original Film announced before the next Progressive so i would say anything is possible, this franchise is still strong, when it comes to the latest arc Unital Ring i've only read its first 2 volumes but i could still recognize SAO.

They had an open beta today and it was fun when you could actually connect and play it.

For what it's worth the beta gave me more than enough reasons to look forward to the complete game after the coming Zelda. I don't think i will be putting 100+ hours like i did with all the ones prior to the 2 Alicization games though, Fractured Daydream feels like a Jack of All Trades Master of None by which i mean Lost Song had better aerial mechanism, Fatal Bullet is clearly the better TPS and the melee gameplay is still far from TERA-like Hollow Realization, they certainly had to compromise in Fractured Daydream to fit everything but being able to do all the characters could in SAO universe is a good selling point.
