Why didn’t they just wait to start airing the anime in the fall season instead of starting in the middle of August?

Yeah why not just wait? Either a really weird decision or production is collapsing behind the scenes, but I hope not. I like this show, it's got everything, hot vampires, cute babies, murder and so much potential for funny screenshots
