Indoor Fish? You’re positively outdoor though.

I'm in agreement that the game as it is right now lacks... well Impact. I also find it really strange that there doesn't seem to be a actual release date even though it's slated for 2024 which we are alrdy more than halfway through the year.

When an announcement for this was first released, I thought they would dabble more on the NEN system similar to the anime but it seems like they decided on a pretty typical take on it which I suppose it's understandable considering how complex it is.

As for more nitpicks, Chrollo having only Indoor Fish as an ability is kinda lame. He's supposed to be a ability stealer character so I expected him to have a wider range of tools to work with.

if they've been given full freedom to do whatever with the game then they're not showing it in these trailers because it seems like such a stripped down fighting game for something with as insane of a power system as hunter x hunter. I dunno I always expected a hxh fighting game to be quite technical and I get that they don't want to chase away newbies but maybe they can have varying degrees of how you play or something so the game can feel as technical as the fights in the manga and show while not sacrificing anything in order to appeal to the most casual hxh fan.

also if the visuals were going to be this lacking maybe they would've been better off leaning into togashi's sketchbook art style more instead of the 2011 anime's.

And what do they mean its hard to make killua in a fighting game because of his godspeed? he doesn't have godspeed 24/7 so just limit his godspeed when its unleashed to a few seconds until the meter runs out just like how the ability works.
