Yeah, but it's worth the extra money to see popular films like Batgirl, Scoob 2, and Coyote VS Acme.

This was actually a smart move by HBO, they raised prices just when the new season of House of the Dragon was about to premiere.

You would think that when Sony released 'Madame Web' and 'Morbius' that people might be a little more understanding about a studio not releasing a potentially brand damaging film, but here we are with your comment. Rolling Eyes

They have the streaming rights to Coyote vs Acme???

Since when? I'm genuinely surprised to hear this.

Warner Bros. since the Discovery Merger has put out the Flash, Shazam 2, Black Adam, The Color Purple remake, & unless it breaks even within the next few weeks Furiosa.

And we’re still going to pretend the cancellations of all those films finished or otherwise to “avoid disaster” was smart?

That was sarcasm.

Zaslav is still squeezing that stone. As obnoxious as it is, doing it the same time a new season of House of the Dragon is set to come out is pretty serendipitous timing. It also has the side effect of scaring legacy yearly subscribers into not canceling out of fear they'll have to pay double if they return.
