It looks pretty cute for an Ultraman project, I mean by the fact that the hero basically adopts a baby kaijū. The visual looks very clean, kind of similar to the Spider-Verse movies, maybe with a bit of Big Hero 6, but not as detailed, though it's kind of weird seeing the typical Western animated movie jokes in an Ultraman setting, and ultraman here kind of reminds of Way Big from Ben 10, which was technically an homage to Ultraman to begin with, due to how long and thin his limbs look.

It looks very visually unique, even with some odd proportions for Ultraman (do we call this one Rising to separate him from old Man-Nii-san?) and the idea of "hero adopts baby" isn't entirely foreign to the franchise. I think it's just nice to have a more traditional Ultra after 3 seasons of the anime being more akin to sentai.

If nothing else, it will look great.

It definitely feels Americanized (and despite the cast being Japanese I wonder if they'll feel like that and not "Americans writing Japanese people") but it looks fun and the visuals are utterly gorgeous, and it seems like it gets the heart of Ultraman.

I'm guessing the Rise Sequence moment is at the climax.

I'd say Netflix Ultra was more like early Heisei Kamen Rider.
