Probably not a huge surprise from me considering I use a profile pic from another Manga Time Kirara series, but I really enjoyed this show! It wasn't the greatest, but it was consistently nice to watch week by week, and had a surprisingly large amount of character growth and drama. I do feel maybe the pacing was slightly too fast, but not having read the manga, I can't say whether that's an adaption problem or also in the source material.

Also the foreheadpathy stuff was super cute and very gay by the end.

Thanks for the review! This is one which somewhat caught my attention at the beginning of the season, but any chance that I might follow it got swamped under by the bevy of other titles. (There were four other titles just on this one's release day that I ended up following.) May go back and try to watch more when I have some downtime.

I very much enjoyed this. It got really good once more characters were added, and I loved the drama parts.

Re: pacing, I believe every episode adapts 15-27 pages of manga, so it was hardly rushing. I thought the pacing was great.

Oh that's interesting to know, I sorta felt like it was moving a fair bit faster near the end but guess it was just the amount of big emotional speeches in the last third playing tricks on me, heh. I did really enjoy that chunk of the series though, so it wasn't a major quibble either way!

Glad to see this turned out well. It was on my list of shows to try, but just got left behind by the large volume of titles I ended up watching last season. At least now I know that it's worth trying to check out in the future Smile

This is on the higher end of Kirara productions.
Even if yuri teasing is the norm for these series, I'm still surprised how... intimate many of the Umika and Akeuchi scenes got. I was also surprised by how a character as "toxic" as Raimon not only existed in a series like this, her development was the star of the series' climax.
As for Haruno's design, hey! Wearing petticoats and a knee-long choker are unusual design elements!
