You will need the email since it has a serial number on each email that must be entered on the claim form.

it will be sent to your Crunchyroll account email. So if you use a really old email, it will probably be in the spam folder. Mine was dated October 5th and wouldn't have seen it except for a tweet about it!

It's possible they're contacting people in phases so as not to overload their system. I've been a paying member since they went legit however many years ago that was and I didn't get an email either.

That’s exactly what is happening. I got the email on October 5th to the last email address I used with Crunchyroll. I received a second email today at the current email address I use with CR.

*Edited to add in the word today.

Pretty sure this showed up in my spam folder and I deleted it. I contacted them to see if they would send me a new email, but not holding my breath. Won't lose sleep over $30.

I've checked all my emails and didn't see one either - I just printed out the claim form and put it in the mailbox. I actually still had stamps from the last time I mailed a letter, which was almost 10 years ago...

Saw this article, checked my inbox and there was the email. Two minutes later, I’m all signed up. I’ll believe it when I see the money in my account.

The per-affected-person amount's only $30 on average, right? Is it common for a large percentage of people not to claim their part of that? I don't seem to have received the email, but that amount doesn't seem high enough to jump through a bunch of bureaucratic hoops for Shocked

EDIT: Also, I really wish they'd, instead, just let me pay extra to bar them from using my data in sales to other companies. I realize there's a value to information about people, but I really dislike how law, policy, and convention has developed in this area; I think there's still time to reverse how readily companies can build effective profiles of people, but most tech companies are definitely not trending in that direction.
