I'm going to assume that this is in a similar situation as ZOM 100 where it's streaming CR as well?

I hope for 20+ episodes for this series to air!

I wouldn’t count on it. Zom 100 was licensed (really co-produced) by Viz Media, but UU seems to be by TMS, who likely gave Hulu exclusive rights. I believe during Anime Expo it might have even had “Hulu Original” branding, similar to Tengoku Daimakyo. Outside of Hulu is anyone’s guess, but likely to be Disney+. |

The great production values are one thing but coupled with a stellar all-star cast? Always happy to see for a manga I love!

Damn that sucks. Thanks for the info. TMS USA tweeted about the exclusivity too: https://twitter.com/tmsanime/status/1674447634918981633 Last edited by Glordit on Sun Aug 20, 2023 12:59 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Why am I feeling that "world premiere" will be focused only to the US? I hope Star+ carries Undead Unluck in Latin America as they doing it with Bleach this season.
Fun fact: Zom 100 is available in Hulu in the US, but not in any of Disney's stream services working here in latam, only in Netflix and Crunchyroll. |

One of these characters looks like a Char clone.

Which seems to be getting us through the Gina arc which is the first major arc of the series after the introductory one. Makes sense, the arc that follows is pretty big and will make for a good launch for the second season (I have no doubt it'll get one and many more after) since it involves several character highlights, gives us a big monster battle, and gives us some of Andy's slow-drip backstory.
A little, but she has more in common with Zechs Merquise. Emerje |
