I was so excited for this reveal, only for it to turn out to be a gacha...
Mega disappointed

According to the youtube comments, it's a gacha-type game...

Oh god, never anything as ominous as "Android and iOS" on a headline... managed to take me out of "weird they didn't shorten her name to Resle or Liana".
There are a couple of screenshots around and it seems to share the same main menu as so many garbage gacha do, minus the actual gacha banner (for now).

I hope this isn’t filling in for the next mainline game and that we’ll still get something new next January/February. I’m so ready to move on from Ryza, but not like this!

It's most likely a spinoff, but Koei Tecmo should market it as such to prevent disappointment as this is marketed too much like a mainline title.

lol it has a Project A number (A25), so it's mainline

This is dead on arrival, it's quite the foolish move to turn a mainline entry into gacha, gacha games often have short shelf lives outside of Asia. Also, that is what spinoffs are for.

i can only afford one gacha game and thats colorful stage
was hoping for a console mainline game and ironically i enjoyed the atelier marie remake more than ryza 3 this year, got sick of the cast of characters in that one.

This upsets me so much, especially since the concept is actually really cool sounding
But the FOMO of gachas and the fact that it could be shut down on a moment's notice are the opposite of what makes atelier appealing, the slow relaxed pace where you can take you mind off things and somehow bake cookies in a cauldron

The Marie remake made me think for a second that KT might actually be smart about following up Ryza's success. Good thing they announced a gacha whose international version will die in a month with the Japanese version meeting the same fate in roughly half a year.

my oldass phone wouldn't be able to handle it so I guess I'm not too upset... It is definitely a shame it's just some gacha thing though. I hope that they can run it more like a proper game with added elements rather than a live or die on the gacha money mobage.

I'll probably play it just so I can say I've played it, but I'm not spending money to finish it.

Welp. I've been burnt out on Atelier lately so I don't mind skipping one.
I honestly wish they made the games shorter, the past few Atelier games dragged on way too long compared to earlier entries.
I do like her design much more than Ryza.

No words, only swearing at this point.
Really — just imagine after a series was quite on the rise for years after the Ryza games profits, KT decided to make a reveal for the next mainline game... that is nothing but gacha with smartphones in mind — despite they had no actual success when they tried to do it already first with Atelier Online (which is already dead), nor do Gust have any major success from gacha at all — like with Blue Reflection Sun — and if anything, it's majorly pissing off the core auditory of the series, who are playing the game mostly on consoles for years, with this reveal.
Plus if Atelier Online was the indicator of how screwed the p2w of this game can be and they decide to go the same way — well, it will be BAD.
