Wouldn't that giveaway her identity then as people will recognize her voice? |
She already has a YouTube channel from before she joined Hololive where her real face is everywhere. Far as I can see, Cover doesn't bar them from doing other things as long as they keep the vtuber stuff out of it.

Pretty much this. As far as I can tell, in most cases, it tends to be a (usually positive) open secret.
Not supposed to talk about it in chat or official channels, but no big deal if people find out... this does vary a bit from one talent to the next though.

Oh I see. I just thought of that because I remember Calli was telling a story before where she and her mom was on a cashier and her mom was casually chatting with the person on the cashier. Her mom then said her daughter (Calli who is with her) is working as a vtuber. She didn't mention on that story that she stopped at that very moment or how she stopped her mom but on stream she said her mom shouldn't say that as people might find out based on her voice.

That's very confusing as there's an active channel for Calli's non V-Tuber stuff and she's WAY past open secret. How far past? One week sCalli did an interview with Ironmouse, the next DemonDice did one live.

Silly chicken, we Germans are too dedicated to defending our seat in the reverse top3 to allow actually talented people to perform for us. 
But in all seriousness, there are plenty of reasons why this wouldnt fly (heh~), especially here in Germany. But nice try and it makes for an entertaining story.

The difference is location. If her parents told people in the neighborhood who she was then they know she lives nearby, possibly tempting someone to post it online and opens up to stalker types. Her address/location isn't public knowledge online.
