To the surprise of probably no one.
Also they're hyping up the rematch with Hinata but Rimuru is so overpowered now I can't imagine any tension to it. |

Yeah this is what turned me off the series, well that and the whole "mass murder is ok as long as they are bad guys" thing but also the lack of tension. |

Without really spoiling anything: Rimuru definitely has the advantage, but he doesn't completely outclass Hinata right now. She's a lot stronger than her initial appearance implied. More specific spoilers: spoiler[And honestly, you don't really see her full power in their next fight either. Neither Rimuru nor Hinata are really going for the kill.] |

Clayman was meant to be weak for Demon Lord's standard even among those which have yet to be awaken as true Demon Lord, starting this point of the story there will be plenty of characters getting power up both allied and foe ( and newcomers well above Rimuru's strength ), in fact among Rimuru's staff a handful will surpass their lord during many volumes. |

It seems to be the same staff as the film so the production might not have start yet or barely, so i'd say early 2024 for a single/first cour and late 2024 for a 2 cour but split cour is the way to go now. |
