Wow, they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel here.
Honestly, the word 'new' should stop being used in the entertainment medium/industry as an attribute/modifier and pick something else that's more accurate for the current era. Like using torpid instead. "NEWS: Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Games' Trailer Introduce Torpid Pokémon Wiglett". |

 Or it'll be more grey-ish with said blue nose, if they're going to go for a somewhat of a shade change such as with Alolan Diglett.
Either way, I have doubts it'll be too much different in shiny form. Although it would be nice to be proven wrong! |

Convergent evolution is a completely new thing that they have introduced into Pokémon with Wiglett, which opens room for a lot of interesting possibilities in the future. I really don't see how introducing more real life ecological phenomena into the world of Pokémon is lazy at all. |

It always amazes me when people complain about lazy and shallow Pokémon designs in the newer games. This in a series that gave us Voltorb, Metapod, Kakuna, Dunsparce, Murkrow, Natu. Weak and sub-par PKMN design is part and parcel and has been since day 1. |
