This is amazing. Wonderful. Incredible. Flippin' awesome.
But am I entitled if ask where the remasters for 3, 4, Tactics, and 5 are?
edit: I know the correct answer is, "If these do well those come out." But I would have liked an all in one collection, personally.

I don’t know how you remaster PS2 era games especially games that were released still relatively early in the systems’s lifespan. I’d rather they remake them.

III and IV might be somewhat difficult, but V was released well into the PS2's lifespan and holds up very well today. All it really needs is sped up loading times and maybe the removal of random battles (like the DQ8 remaster).

Remake, remaster, completely unaltered, I don't particularly care. I just want them released in a full collection so they're available on PC and modern systems. The last time any of these was released was on PS3's PSN, and as far as I recall they only did 1-3.

Nightdive's M.O. is about remastering games from the PS2 era & earlier (mostly earlier, in fact), so I don't see how such a concept is hard to understand. Shadow Man, Turok 1 & 2, Strive, Doom 64, PowerSlave Exhumed, & even Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition (among others) are all about giving players the same overall experience that these games delivered back in the day, with a focus on using the original assets in the best quality possible & with better frame rates at higher resolutions than what was possible before, i.e. a "remaster".

I don’t know about how the others fared but I’m pretty sure the BR:EE remaster was pissed on all over for how not good it looked and played compared to the original. Also I understand how remasters work the thing is that not all games need a remaster usually because the games being remastered don’t look good (even the originals) or depending on the type of game you can’t make the gameplay not feel dated or just plain terrible by modern standards.
But in general they come off feeling lazy.

Yeah of the three PS2 games it looks less awkward than the 2nd and 3rd.
