I'd expect Sony fans to be really miffed at them over how they've treated their first-party titles.

I mean outside of Gran Turismo they’ve been treated largely fine.

They shut down their first-party studios to focus on re-releasing The Last of Us for the umpteenth time,

First I’ve heard of this. Though to be fair unnecessary as the Last Of Us remake is. At least they didn’t RE4 it.

The coolest part about Captain Velvet is that I actually recognise all the series it uses, and some I didn't ever expect to see in a game.

I know how you feel! I only knew a handful of the properties in Jump Ultra Stars when I imported it way back in the day (I mostly got it for Jotaro Kujo and DIO). But it also had all these other characters I recognized; Hell Teacher Nube and Nogami Neuro and Arale and Seiya.. I don't actually recognize many of the Jump+ properties outside of Spy Family. I know of Kaiju No. 8, but I don't actually know anything about it. But that's still okay! What I've played so far feels very respectful to the cameo cast. Look forward to my complete review sometime next week!

Lies of P is definitely on my radar at this point- though, admittedly, I'll need a new system to actually play it. A lot of my interest will depend on how it approaches narrative though- Fromsoft's method consistently kills my interest in their games, though I have enjoyed similar games with a more narrative focus (like Code Vein).

Dune 2 was my first RTS back in the day (and I didn't even know what Dune was about) Laughing

Apollo Smile is back in her home town in Connecticut teaching dance choreography and already declined going back to voice work, with Cherami Leigh taking over for Ulala in Space Channel 5 VR

(Maybe they can coax her with more money)

It's day-one Game Pass - play it on a device ya already have
