Figured it was just a timed exclusive which isn't that big a deal. If xbox players can be patient with final fantasy then playstation players can be patient with Persona. Although honestly neither game should have ever been exclusive.

Between the Xbox Brand not being terribly popular in Japan and Nintendo going through a weird phase with the WiiU (and some limitations with the Switch) realistically the only other platforms those games would’ve made sense to bring to would have been PC.

So it is coming to everything except Switch.

I don’t get you, Atlus.

Atlus probably didn't care to port likely because their primary market in Japan already buys their games on PlayStation, and that's likely the same overseas.

These ports are likely a way to test where the winds are shifting with the changing market before they go into future development of new titles.

They are generally a smaller studio so resources are limited and it makes sense to focus on one platform and consider ports with a skeleton crew later on its own time.

Persona is very popular here in the states. And xbox also has a very heavy presence here in the states. Makes perfect sense to me to bring it to xbox.

Surprised no one mentioned anything about "why they port P3P over P3FES?!" though I did expected as much xD

Most of that was in the initial reveal article thread, though it was a lot tamer compared to the vitriol I've seen on social media over the decision

I guess in terms of priority, Portable made more sense to Atlus. Especially given the popularity of the Fem protag. This is why I'm really pulling for a remake announcement.

That’s be a bit of a dick move.

But it’s the new normal I suppose.

I really wished they would put these games on the Switch.

Seems like a no brainer, but I just can’t figure out Atlus sometimes.

Wasn't it recently reported that the Switch outsold the PS4 in the U.S.? Not to mention that in Japan the Switch has sold 24 million units while the PS4 only sold 9 million. If I were Atlus I would try to make a Switch version as well, there's a huge number of gamers that only have a Switch as their main console that would be interested in playing Persona.

Not surprised about steam and only surprising for playstation if it comes at the same time.

I imagine the switch version has to be in development though. It seems like too big of a market (especially in Japan) to ignore... It'd just have to be that it's more work compared to bringing it to PC, Xbox & PS4 given their PC-like hardware

Confused as to no Switch port because it would print money for Sammy as far as I'm concerned. It could easily run the first 2 (3&4) games and could do 5 at 720p or some weird 6xx resolution. Sega needs to be more assertive with it's new buddy when it comes to multiple platforms releases.

I'm curious what the prices will be? Considering their age at this point, I'm hoping for 20 dollars a piece. Though this is Sega we're dealing with, so it could be 40 dollars or some crap
