Sonic has stayed in the top three for quite a while now. Most movies these days are lucky to remain there for more than two weeks. Sonic even climbed up to #2 at one point after falling to #3, which is something that hardly ever happens. Not to mention kicking Harry Potter's butt. That's a pretty remarkable run, especially given the poor reputation of video game movies. Nice going, Sonic!

Sonic continues to be Paramount’s major bright spot this year. Being competitive with Doctor Strange is no easy feat.

It’s Doctor Strange dude not exactly Spider-Man or Avengers.

Considering the film made $160 million dollars its opening week and another $67 million this week while most films this year have been floundering (although the cameos definitely helped), I’d call it a good feat. I don’t see Bob’s Burgers making $60 million its entire run.

No wonder they're doing a Knuckles spinoff.

Let's hope when this movie is released in Japan, Jewelpet Attack Travel! is double billed with it now that Kukuriraige seems to be out of the question. They're both SEGA franchises, so I think it would make sense.
