I can confirm that, as of Friday, this spot is playing in Japanese cinemas immediately after the "NO MORE Eiga Dorobou" short (the current incarnation of which can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRf0o8_Temg).
Oddly, at my theater it completely replaced the ratings information short from Eirin. I guess that filmgoers will no longer have any way to know the difference between PG12 and R15+.

The war on piracy is lost cause. Places like nyaa are here to stay. Companies just need to highlight the value of supporting productions versus telling everyone what we already know.

well until Discotek releases more ... Sgt Frog isn't a good example to use, at least for the West, for "support the official release" considering for the anime there is no official release for any eps past 78

Would I download Sgt. Frog? Yes-except that I don't don't care for the series at all, I have one of the crapamation dvd sets from 5 or 6 years ago and after watching it I felt like puking.

I guarantee you Balmung is one of those types that will say "Just get a VPN then." Why should I pay for something else when just to get access to all of a site's catalog when piracy is better and also flips the bird to all of these corpo not-so-nice-people?
