Just a heads up that the RSS does not actually point to the episode MP3, nor did last week's. This has been a consistent issue nearly every week. Anyone subscribing via the RSS feed, like myself, gets endless looping error messages instead of the episode.

I'm sorry to hear that. The podcast recently moved to a new platform as of last week and I'll have to follow-up with them at what the correct link is for the show. The issue is that the RSS is pointing to that webpage rather than directly to the media file. That’s what needs to be inserted into the feed. There was a similar issue on the last platform too. I’ve taken to ripping the audio from YouTube and manually inserting the media file into my podcast app. Inelegant, but it works. I love the show, hopefully you can work through these growing pains. Very happy to have regular ANN podcast content again.

I appreciate the dedication! I did manage to find a work around "https://injected.simplecastaudio.com/f70b2783-1d06-411d-9a7e-096b4c73a271/episodes/d3b07566-e5da-4bda-882c-44a6b157ff53/audio/128/default.mp3"
I've updated it in this article but I don't know if I'd have to update it manually to fix it in the RSS feed. |

In my case my app (Podcast Addict) has a bizarre issue where it thinks the audio is way longer than it is. Instead of an hour long, it's 3h33m long. It sounds fine and is actually only an hour long, but whenever I pause, the position in the file jumps backwards by a lot because, for example, pausing at the 20 minute mark will resume at the 6 minute mark because of how the relative positioning works.
So, something is wrong with how the length of the audio is encoded in the MP3. Granted, it doesn't seem to be entirely broken considering opening it in Chrome shows the right length, but it is really funky in my podcast app and it will be annoying to continue to deal with this (it started happening last week). |

For some reason, last week’s episode isn’t showing up at all on my iTunes podcast app. The show list jumps from Nov 16th’s episode to today’s.

I'm going to be the odd poster out and comment on the content of the episode: surprised James thought the humor landed better in the latest Demon Slayer episode. I guess the jokes were slightly less bad, but I still mostly found myself groaning and looking at my watch.
