Bilibili pulling itself out of the licensing committee did put a wrench in the production of the anime.

Bilibili isn't even part of Mushoku Tensei's production committee. It is easily verifiable just by looking at the ANN page.

Well sh!t, that sucks... And this was one of my most anticipated shows of the summer season. I wonder what those "various circumstances" behind the delay are.

With the state of Japan as it is now, the delay is expectable. Though I hope this also means they put the quality of the show on top priority.
