I wonder if Kon would actually sit through YuGiOh...

That would be interesting to see... I'm glad living near DC has some perks to it - Freer's one of the Smithsonian's most undervalued museums and this sounds too cool (save for the YuGiOh part). |

No offense, but 10:30 in the morning is pretty random. When can the line start forming? Will Otakon be giving out tickets through their website? This is an event I simply do not want to miss. I need more information.

All right, from what I remember about last year's event: Last year, the doors opened before 10:30am so that a line could form up. I suggest getting there early, say around 9:30am. In addition, the auditorium being used seats 300; another reason to get there early. Use the Metro system to get there (Smithsonian station, Blue/Orange lines). Parking on the Mall is limited, and could possibly have a time limit (not sure about Saturday parking restrictions). Finally, tickets are distributed on-site only. |

I so wish to attend this, but I can't. It sounds like it might be fairly small as well. Which would be great, I could ask him more than one question usually. And I would too, because two films are being screened.(sp)
Which brings me to a bigger question. If you had two to start with, what would you ask? And no. i do not think Kon would sit through YuGiOh, unless he had a lot of free drinks. Which I hope he gets. Regardless. |
