Very nice two projects from Ghibli this year, I must say I am looking forward to Miyazaki last film . As for Iblard Time I hope that Disney is quick to bring this out because this just sounds really interesting, hopefully we can see a release by Christmas time.....maybe sooner?

Is this the title Miyazaki is claiming in which he'll create a character more iconic than Totoro?

Yup, that's what his goal is.

Sounds great. I hope he succeeds (and I also hope that it will be different from the "Little Mermaid").

Love Miyazaki, but that's pretty f'n pretentious. There's no way that can be possible. That movie better be damn near PERFECT, since Totoro is already one of the greatest animated movies ever made. It sure as hell better be waaaaaaaaay better than Howls Moving Castle.

Ironically, that was the last thing I thought of when I saw the screen-cap.

A Miyazaki film. I just hope it's as promising as he claims it would be. Then again this is Miyazaki we're talking about, I'm sure it will be great. The man is like an anime God. Well... can’t wait to see both of these new films. great news indeed.

That's rather jumping the gun in terms of judgment. I thought it quite interesting, and very different from typical "clean" anime style drawing techniques. Still, either way, the pic really shows nothing yet.

I'm really excited for these movies, especially Gake no ue no Ponyo. Man, there's been so many awesome anime movies coming out lately, it's such a great time to be a fan.

Not to complain about getting another Miyazaki film, but wasn't he supposed to retire nearly five years ago?

Ponyo Above a Cliff, huh?
Is that a pun for Goro's career?
No, but really, I hope the mistakes of Howls was not lost.
