Oh I'm really sad to hear this, I always thought his artwork for Tsurikichi Sampei was so beautiful and he had such a fun character style too. I'm looking up the art for his later manga and the backgrounds and composition are great, you can tell he really loved being in nature.

I grew up watching anime through the Arabic dub that was released under the title El Siad El Sakheer (The Young Fisherman).
